This is a series of reports that I will post each and every month summarising my progress. I’ll first mention the major events that may have happened within the month that could have made a difference in my earnings. I will also break down the sources of my income so that I can keep track of how each one is doing. Lastly, I’ll conclude with the most important things that I learned and what I have planned for the near future. I’d love to respond to any questions or comments that you may have. Thanks!
Important Goings On In June
I purchased Luca De Stefani‘s Kindle Publishing Strategies Package / Course on the 10th June and he has videos specifically detailing how to properly price your Createspace (and ACX) books. Putting into action what he taught has caused the biggest jump in my earnings that I have had since beginning Kindle Publishing in March of last year. His advice means that I now earn more from my Online Business than I do from my day job. The best $79 I’ve ever spent!
How do I make my money online?
The majority of the money I make online comes from Kindle Publishing. Some also comes from Createspace and a small amount comes from selling print on demand T-shirts on sites like Merch By Amazon, Redbubble and Teespring. Plus some small affiliate earnings.
Kindle Publishing
This is my total from Kindle taken from the Book Report dashboard plugin for Kindle. It adds everything up into one nice figure.
Total from Kindle Publishing – $ 1757.38 (£1321.48)
Createspace
Total from Createspace – $955.11 (£712)
Note: I take this screenshot before the end of the day so I will get more sales as I get most during the night then get reported here. I don’t want to stay up until 5AM to take a screenshot.
Merch By Amazon (Redbubble, Teespring, etc)
Total from Merch By Amazon – $30 (£22.83).
Note: I’ve only just start selling t shirts I’ve not even been given access to Merch By Amazon yet. All my sales have come from Redbubble and Teespring.
Misc Income
Misc Affiliate Payments – $91.00 (£67.69)
Total for June 2016
$2827.97 (£2124)
What’s Next?
This was my best month online ever. I am now making more from my online business than from my day job as a web designer / web developer. I gave my notice at my day job 16 weeks ago. I’m waiting for my replacement to be trained up and comfortable in her role and then I’m going to do this full time!
What I need to do next month
I need to work harder and publish more books. Hopefully get approved for Amazon Merch and upload all t-shirts to that platform.
I’m really excited for the future. Thanks for reading!
