This is a series of reports that I will post each and every month summarising my progress. I’ll first mention the major events that may have happened within the month that could have made a difference in my earnings. I will also break down the sources of my income so that I can keep track of how each one is doing. Lastly, I’ll conclude with the most important things that I learned and what I have planned for the near future. I’d love to respond to any questions or comments that you may have. Thanks!
Important Goings On In August
Here are the import goings on this month:
Quiet August
August is normally the quietest month of the year, though this year wasn’t as quiet as it has been in the last (see my August 2016 Income Report). So it wasn’t too bad on the whole. It’s really good to see my second Kindle and Createspace accounts growing nicely.
Dropshipping
I tried setting up some Google Shopping ads for my drop shipping products but they don’t seem to be getting much traction. I have almost 100 products on google shopping and I get maybe 1 or 2 clicks a week. So I’m thinking about giving up on drop shipping I’ve wasted far too much time on it over the last few months. The reason I stopped using Facebook ads was that I had to constantly check the ads to make sure they were still profitable and not wasting too much money, so it wasn’t really passive at all.
How Do I Make My Money Online?
The majority of the money I make online comes from Kindle Publishing. Some income also comes from Createspace, ACX and a small amount comes from selling print on demand T-shirts on sites like Merch By Amazon, Redbubble and Teespring. Plus some small affiliate earnings.
Kindle Publishing
This is my total from Kindle taken from the Book Report dashboard plugin for Kindle. It adds everything up into one nice figure.
Total from Kindle Publishing account 1 – $872.09 (£673.86)
Total from Kindle Publishing account 2 – $97.12 (£75.04)
Createspace
Total from Createspace account 1 – $1522.85 (£1176.71)
Total from Createspace account 2 – $139.33 (£107.66)
ACX
Sold 61 audiobooks (0 bounties)
Total from ACX – $101.10 (£78.12)
Note: This is an approximation as I do not know the exact amount until later on this month (20th). So I’ve made an approximation based on what I have been paid in the past.
Merch By Amazon (Redbubble, Teespring, etc)
Merch By Amazon – $5.88 (£4.54).
Total from RedBubble – $31.46 (£24.30).
Total from Teepublic – $38.50 (£29.75).
Total from Teespring – $18.05 (£13.95).
Total from Zazzle – $0 (£0).
Misc Income
Affiliate Income – $33.50 (£25.89).
Dropshipping Income – $0 (£0).
Total for August 2017
$2859.88 (£2209.83)
What’s Next?
Keep on keeping on! I’m happy that my second Amazon accounts are growing nicely. Onwards and upwards!

Thanks for reading. cheers!
How many titles do you have on ACX, also do you select the option to split 50/50 with the narrator.
Thanks
I really don’t have many, I think its about 5 currently.
So far I have always paid upfront so I get to keep 40% of the royalties. If you do the split you only get to keep 20%.
