I love posting about Geeky topics like the video games I’m playing as well as the books I’m reading so if you don’t like this sort of thing it’s probably not a good idea to follow me on Twitter and Instagram.
Why Did I Start This Blog?
I started this blog because I got fed up of seeing guys like Joe Rogan (UFC Commentator & Podcast Host) & Stefan Pylarinos (A well-known Internet Marketer) constantly berating people who play video games. I hate the stigma that anyone who plays video games is a loser who will amount to nothing and achieve nothing in their life. This blog was started as a challenge to that stereotype. I want to show you that you can be a geek, play video games and watch shows like Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead and still run a successful business. The two are not mutually exclusive in the way that some people like to make out.
I also found that once I surpassed what I was making in my day job as a web designer my motivation to do work on a day to day basis dropped sharply and it became more difficult to wake up early and get to work. Because the truth is you need a lot less money than you think to be happy and content with your life. So having the accountability of people reading this blog has definitely helped with my motivation to keep growing.
